kitchie's ok..but too much exposure makes me sick. however, bamboo's doing well. ------------- the number of pinoy bands is growing rapidly..think they're the ones building up our music industry?

i don't have much about pinoy artists... coz a lot of times i choose not to be updated with the local though i know their potentials, unless he/she/they are everywhere. i so dig for brittany (spears) and the like *loLz* maybe this is just being filipino.

The Phil music industry is no good, most artists here try soooo hard to copy western music, it's pathetic. There are some real talents but mostly never heard of. I try as much as I can to listen to Filipino talents though it takes some time before you can find real musicians e.g. Urbandub. But right now I'm loving British rock bands, Filipino singers have to take a back seat first.

Hindi ko masyadong type ang classic rock, kasi it was the 'glam' era where men wear leather pants and sport weird hairdos. *shudders*
Yes, some of them were sexy (think The Black Crowes, Axel Rose, Jim Morrison) but it still doesn't compensate for their music. Rock music back then pretty much sound the same to me, no synthesizers and mushy lyrics masked with rocking tunes. But come the 90s the rock scene was at its finest again, with the coming of bands like Nirvana. Anong bands ba trip mo na tumutugtog ng classic rock?

i'm not really talking about those classic-rock-leather pants age..i mean yung medyo luma lang..like yung ode to my family ng the cranberries..and songs nung era na yun..siguro nasa elementary tayo nun..yun! ---------------- ang labo ko noh?! ;D

100% of the population listen to music. and what makes it horrible is that 75% of it enjoys listening to novelty songs.
